Help shape what support should look like for young people living with epilepsy.
Epilepsy Queensland is launching a Youth Co-Design Project to better understand the real experiences of young adults aged 13–25 living with epilepsy — especially around mental health, wellbeing, and accessing the right support.
We know epilepsy isn’t just about seizures. It can affect your mental health, friendships, school, confidence, and how you feel day-to-day. But adults don’t always get it right when creating support or resources… So instead of guessing, we’re asking you.
What’s the project about? We’re running fun, relaxed workshops and creative sessions where you can:
- Share your experiences (only what you’re comfortable with!)
- Talk about mental health and wellbeing
- Tell us what support actually helps — and what doesn’t
- Help design new, youth-friendly resources for other young people
What’s in it for you?
- Have your voice heard
- Meet other young people who get it
- Be part of real change
- Help create things that actually make a difference
