4 years ago we started a journey to tell the story of the incredible impact the team Epilepsy Queensland has on the community we serve.
The evolution of our “Impact Report” from a typical annual report through to what you see here today is something I’m almost as proud of as I am the impact itself. The journey is not complete, and its certainly not yet perfect.
The evolution of the story and the brand will continue as will the work of Epilepsy Queensland as it evolves and shapes around the needs of the community they serve.
As part of our succession planning process Sandi Rodiger this week commenced in the role of Interim Chief Executive and I will continue to support the Board and leadership team from a distance over the coming months to ensure continuity of our work.
The primary goal of any good leader is to leave the organisation and its people in a better place than which it was found – and as I reflect on my 4 year journey I’m proud to say that’s something we achieved together. I am grateful for the trust and partnership with the Board, EQ Team (past and present) and our community, as we developed a culture of bravery in our pursuit of being better for people living with epilepsy.
Please take a read of the impact this organisation creates and if so moved – get involved and help make a difference in the lives of 1 in 25 Queenslanders living with epilepsy.
