Judging Criteria
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
The TechnologyOne Website Competition is open to all students from Queensland
high schools.
Entries developed by individuals or team entries (maximum of five)
are welcome. Only one entry will be accepted per person or team.
There are no age or year categories.
Once entrants have designed their website they are advised to submit
their website URL (address) and a copy on CD to:
Epilepsy Queensland Inc
TechnologyOne Website Competition
PO Box 1457, Coorparoo BC 4151
webcomp@epilepsyqueensland.com.au
Website entries should appeal to their chosen target audience and hold
their attention.
The site should provide support for people with epilepsy by directing
them to information, support, and useful contacts. Information about
epilepsy should be provided to develop awareness and avoid misunderstanding
and anxiety amongst students who may observe their friends’ having
seizures. They should understand its causes, triggers, how many people
have it, and how it is treated. In particular, they should know how
to help.
Please note: You are not redesigning Epilepsy Queensland’s current
website. You are creating something new.
Epilepsy Queensland’s contact details should appear on your website
as:
Epilepsy Queensland Inc
PO Box 1457, Coorparoo BC Qld 4151
(07) 3435 5000
1300 852 853 (outside Brisbane)
Email: epilepsy@epilepsyqueensland.com.au
